This piece is a hand-hooked rug wall hanging made from waste plastic titled "On my belly in the grass". Inspiration for the image comes from the feeling of spring beginning to take hold combined with memories of rolling down grassy hills in warm, sunny weather.
The rug is attached to a hardboard backing and wired to be displayed on a wall. The piece measures approximately 11"x14" and is lightweight enough to be hung with a standard nail.
