Lately, I've been making preserves of my plastic needlework.
"Mosaic Preserves" is an abstract recycled plastic ribbon embroidery piece mimicking shattered crockery in bright primary colors inspired by Gaudi's work in Barcelona.
The mini embroidery piece is framed by a large-mouthed recycled Mason Jar lid that has kept at least one batch of pickles or something else safe from the elements for a time. Measures Approximately 4"x4" and hangs perfectly well off a small nail or pushpin.
